Lodi Avenue Cellars is made by the Scotto Family of California, best known for their intense, straightforward, knock-out wines like Heavyweight Red. And isn’t that just what you want sometimes? A wine that doesn’t want or claim to be complex. A wine that pairs with sitting on the couch watching some mindless Netflix show.

2017 Pour Le Vin “Bon Appetit” Merlot, Pays d’Oc, France


In July we featured Pour Le Vin’s “Rendez-Vous” Sauvignon Blanc which was incredibly popular. This month we are proud to have their Merlot as our Wine of the Month. Pour Le Vin is an energetic new company making a range of wines made from grapes sourced in the Languedoc and Gascony.

2018 Dominio De Eguren Protocolo Tempranillo, Vino de la Tierra Castilla


Dominio de Eguren was founded by brother Marcos and Miguel Eguren, Marcos serving as the winemaker and Miguel as the general manager. While they have substantial vineyard holdings in the Castilla region, the goal for this project is to use their relationships with other growers in the area to produce wines of high quality at affordable prices.
