2020 Domaine de Cornillac Beaujolais Nouveau


Domaine de Cornillac is a small, family-owned winery in the Saint Verand region of southern Beaujolais. Unlike most Beaujolais Nouveau that are produced by large conglomerates to be sold en masse to American consumers, Domaine de Cornillac uses the grapes from their young estate vines to produce a small bottling of Nouveau.

Able to source grapes from all over Burgundy, they produce everything from the finest Grand Cru Burgundy has to offer to more affordable table wines. Coteaux Bourguignons is a recent appellation (created in 2011) to give Burgundy’s winemakers greater flexibility.

Domaine Clair-Daü, although relatively young, was one of the greatest domaines of Burgundy. The Domaine was founded in 1919 when Joseph Clair married Marguerite Dau.

2019 Land of Saints Cabernet Franc, Santa Barbara County, CA


Land of Saints is a collaboration between Angela and Jason Osborne (A Tribute to Grace Wine Company), and Manuel Cuevas (C2 Cellars). The name comes from Jason’s roots in Cornwall (also known as the Land of Saints) but is also a play on California’s many Saintly cities (Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, San Francisco, etc.).

2016 Castelgufo Chianti Riserva, Tuscany, Italy


The Cerester winery, located just east of Pisa, has focused on growing organic Chianti for three generations. The Castelgufo Chianti Riserva is made from certified organic Sangiovese (80%), Colorino (10%), and Malvasia Nera (10%) vines, set on rocky clay-limestone terroir.
