The rugged Yamanashi Prefecture, west of Tokyo and in the shadow of
Mount Fujiyama, is the source of this refined and elegant Saké. The pure,
soft Hakushu water of the mountains is the reason the Shichiken Brewery
was established here some 250 years ago. This Junmai bottling is
exquisite! Lovely scents of flowers, melon and fresh fennel are followed by
delicate, but rich flavors and a clean finish. Drier than most Sakés,
the Shichiken is a fine match for richer seafoods, chicken, pork, or
